 Millions of people die every year in India due to TB disease.  On the basis of the causes of death, TB comes at number nine in terms of causing the highest number of deaths.  Considering the seriousness of the matter, the Union Health Ministry is trying to eradicate the disease of TB.  For which the target has been set by the government by 2025.  Along with ensuring proper treatment of every patient, the government is providing proper nutrition to the patients because in the absence of nutrition, eradication of this disease will not be very effective.  For this reason, the government is giving assistance of Rs 500 per month to all TB patients during treatment.  According to the instructions of the same department, it has now been made mandatory to register all the tuberculosis patients in private clinics on the Nishchay portal.  was.  After the passage of October, only 1555 i.e. 39% patients have been registered so far.

 The remaining 2445 patients are to be registered in mission mode in November and December.  Regarding the program of entry on Nikshay Portal, two members from the state level team Dr. Sandeep Soni Public Health Expert STSU, and members of Akbar Hussain team Sadar Hospital I team inspected the Department of Tuberculosis and Doctor for You office working on private notification.  A special strategy was made to increase the private notification by meeting with the personnel located there.

  CDO Dr GM Thakur informed that the government has started a new scheme for effective control and eradication of TB.

 Online monitoring is being done at the administrative level through the portal.  Through the portal, information related to TB patients and their treatment and information about improvement in health due to treatment is being recorded.

 The portal is being updated daily.

 

    Communicable Disease Officer Dr. GM.  Thakur said that the number of TB patients in India is the highest in the whole world.  Every fourth patient of TB is Indian.  Statistics show that 30 lakh people suffer from TB disease.

 Therefore, not all people get better treatment.
