 In order to maintain law and order, SP Sushil Kumar held a crime meeting with all the police officers of the district in his office located in the Collectorate on Saturday.  During this, he took stock of the records of all the police stations one by one.  During the meeting, the police stations whose records were found to be lacking, they were told to rectify them at the earliest.  While all others were instructed to do better.  While directing all the police stations, the SP said that the investigation of the cases should be done in time as well as the pending cases should be disposed of quickly.  The accused absconding in different cases (Accused Absconder) were asked about the immediate arrest.  According to the information received from the police sources, during the meeting, it was said to take special vigil regarding the upcoming festival, while all the SHOs were instructed to be alert regarding alcohol.

  The SP reviewed the cases related to pending cases, non bailable warrant, attachment, UD case, women atrocities, and dowry elimination in all the police stations.  He asked the SHOs to check liquor smuggling in the district under any circumstances. Therefore, by running a special drive, he directed for routine checking of vehicles.  Directed to intensify patrolling in the Indo-Nepal border area.  He said that because of its attachment to the Nepal border, smugglers smuggle liquor.  On the other hand, the anti-social elements of the area are facing anti-social elements regarding the upcoming Diwali, Chhath festival.

  Simultaneously instructed to keep a close watch on the illegal crackers shop.  Be gentle with the complainants when they reach the police station.
