 Two dozen devotees fell ill after eating Bhandara's prasad ---- symptoms of food poisoning

   A case of food poisoning has come to the fore in Salkhania of Babubarhi block of the district.  Patients who came to Sadar Hospital for treatment told that the health of the devotees deteriorated while eating the prasad of the Bhandara after the completion of Gosai Puja by the sages.  Everyone complained of abdominal pain, vomiting, fever, nausea, sleeplessness.  Some people feared that some worm might have fallen.  Suddenly there was an atmosphere of fear and panic.  When there was no improvement in the village doctor and primary health center, all the patients were brought to Sadar Hospital for treatment.  The relatives of the patients present in the ward told that Bhandara was organized on 8th.  All the patients admitted in the ward are treated under the supervision of Dr Vinay Kumar (observation) Jyoti Kumari, 6 years old, Amit 7 years old, Ram Sonai age 40, Ram Shankar Raut, Satyanarayan Raut age 50, Pandit Raut age 40, Ram Prasad Raut  Age 45, Sumit 5 years, Anjali Kumari 14 years, Gudiya 17 years, Asha, 35, Bibha Devi 27 years, Bhagwati Devi 70 years, Ganga Devi 24, Vandana 10 years and Chano and Devi age 32. Treatment is going on.

  The relatives of the patients present in the Sadar Hospital told that the people who ate Bhandara's Prasad on August 8, started deteriorating from August 9, then the primary health center and the doctor of the village treated him.  Therefore, in view of the deteriorating situation, all the patients were admitted to the Sadar Hospital for better treatment at 11 am on the morning of 11 August.
