Police Memorial Day (Police Memorial Day) is organized in the whole country in the honour of the martyred police personnel.
In this context, Police Commemoration Day was also celebrated in the honour of the martyr police personnel at the Police Center located in the city. Where many top officers along with the SP remembered the brave martyrs and a memorial parade was organized in honour of the police personnel.
SP Sushil Kumar in his address from the stage of Parade Ground said that this tradition is going on since the year 1961. Therefore, 62 years ago, the Chinese invaders were ambushed on the snowy peaks of Ladakh, as soon as they got a chance.
Patrolling in Haat-Spring, the patrol party was attacked. During that time the soldiers had sacrificed their lives fighting for the defence of the motherland. From then till today, October 21 was celebrated as Police Commemoration Day by the Central Police Organizations and the Civil Police of all the states.
