 Swachchhata Campaign at Ram Rekha Ghat, Buxar

Zoological Survey of India, Gangetic Plains Regional Centre, Patna organised a Swachachhata campaign 3.0 Shramdamfrom 10.00am To 11.00 am at Ram Rekha Ghat,Buxar,. The Chief Guest of the Function was the Hon,ble Minister of State, Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Govt of India.

The function was started with the homage to the Father of Nation Mahatama Gadhi with flower. All the Dignitaries of the Function pay homage to the Father of Nation. Then Shri Ashwini Kumar Choubey started cleaning the Ghats at Ramrekha Ghat with the help of ZSI Patna officials, FCI Official and Buxar Municipal Corporation staff. The Executive officer of Buxar Municipal Corporation Miss Swarupam was also present on the occasion. The entire Ghats of Ramrekha Ghat, Buxar was cleaned up with the hundreds of volunteers present on the occasion. The NCC Cadets, Nehru Yuva Kendra Volunteers, NSS and other school and College Students with municipal corporation staff took active part in the cleanliness at Ramrekha ghat. More than 1000 participants took part in the campaign started at 10.00am.

Then the Human Chain was made from the Ramrekha Ghat to Quila Maidan Buxar. More than one kilometre two human chains were made to mark the cleanliness campaign at Buxar.

The all-municipal corporation staff those who are doing day today cleanliness in Buxar were felicitated with the shawl and one sampling from the Chief guest Shri Ashinin Kumar Chaubey.

The T shirts were also distributed. All the participants were given light refreshments. The oath to keep the city and Ganga Ghat clean were also taken. Lastly the function was concluded with the National Anthem.
