The Union Minister of WCD to Chair the Zonal Meeting at Patna

The Union Minister for Women and Child Development, Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani will be on a one-day visit to Patna, the capital of Bihar, tomorrow (09.7.2022, Saturday). After reaching Patna, first of all she will visit Anganwadi Center (No-137) located at Phulwari Sharif. Later, she will go to Gyan Bhawan, Gandhi Maidan, Patna, where she will preside over the zonal meeting of the Ministry of Women and Child Development, organized on the achievements of 8 years. During this, the beneficiary women and children of various schemes related to women and child welfare will also share their experiences with the Union Minister. In the meeting, a presentation will also be made before the Union Minister Smt. Irani regarding financial inclusion and economic empowerment of women and impact on the condition of children in the last 8 years. Along with this, she will also discuss topics related to women and child development with representatives of civil societies and universities.
